Do the Duke

The attainment of this award is one of the most prestigious achievements for young Canadians between the ages of 14 and 25. Youth become community champions while challenging themselves with activities designed to promote self-discipline and self-reliance. The support and guidance of BC Extreme's highly qualified staff allows individuals to safely participate in adventures designed to fulfill the requirements of this award: skills, community service, fitness, and expeditions. Develop your leadership and outdoor skills while having fun and creating memories to last a lifetime. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a means to encourage and motivate all youth to voluntarily become involved in a variety of personal development activities, including community service, expeditions, skills and physical recreation. This program is offered through the Vancouver School Board.
